Ladies embrace your rolls, because a lot of us have them.
Meet Roy, he often makes a guest appearance on my snapchat. He's always there, hanging around, chilling with my other front rolls, Pablo, his cousin. They get on well, they've known each other since my adolescence.
In all seriousness though ✋🏼 I'm naturally quite petite, over the past year I've worked really hard to develop abs but I also have #stomachrolls when I sit down. A Lot of fit girls I know have them as well, and I just want to say that it's totally normal.
The way I see it, abs and rolls are like the Yin and Yang of balanced living, the heaven and hell, the Jekyll and Hyde.
Sure, I workout 4-5 times a week, I eat clean most of the time but sometimes I also indulge...that's just my life, I'm a firm believer that you gotta have a bit of fun. I aways say to my bf 'If I get hit by a bus right now I wouldn't be happy' and proceed to order sake and some ice-cream.
That said, when I was in the process of starting to workout often, trying to change my routines and get my abs in the first place, I was a little more disciplined. But, once it became a lifestyle and I established a routine and self-control, the only way for it to be sustainable for me was to balance the good with the bad and still allow myself the occasionally naughty treat. Those who follow me on snapchat know what I mean. 😝
I know we're all different and there are some out there who are self-control masters 100% of the time and I commend you for it 👏🏼 that's amazing, keep it up 💪🏼 but I'm not one of them, and I'm ok with that - because frankly I still enjoy a few drinks in the sun, even if Roy and Pablo have to tag along ♡
